Welcome to the Newark Team Ministry website.
We are a Church of England parish with three church buildings, St Mary Magdalene, Christ Church and St Leonard's, together with All Saints' in the nearby village of Coddington. Together we serve the 26,000 inhabitants of the pleasant, historic market town of Newark, Nottinghamshire, and the surrounding area.
Each of our churches is actively involved in the life of its neighbourhood. Like the Anglican Church nationally, we include a wide range of people and forms of worship, celebrating both our unity and also our diversity. Our Team Ministry was formed in 1980, uniting three formerly independent parishes, and Coddington was amalgamated into the group in 2000. We are part of Newark deanery, within the Anglican Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
